AGING IN MAINE
Aging in Maine is a program of the Camden International Film Festival in partnership with Working Films. The program is designed to connect Maine-based nonprofit leaders with powerful documentary films that spark public dialogue around how an aging demographic and related issues like dementia-related illness impact Maine communities.
Aging in Maine kicked off in August 2013 at our inaugural “Points North Engagement Summit.” Since then, we’ve worked with more than twenty Maine-based organizations focused on serving the needs and advocating for older adults — and organized dozens of screenings that have helped support educational and outreach programs.
