River Finlay is an award winning documentary filmmaker dedicated to telling character driven stories that are relevant to our changing world. Her work has screened at dozens of festivals across the world including Sheffield Doc Festival, Camden International Film Festival, and Big Sky Documentary festival. Her work has been featured on National Geographic, The Atlantic and Short of the Week. River’s point of view as a director is rooted in twenty years in the international public health field. When not making independent films she is both a commercial director and supports non-profit organizations across the world to tell their stories.
