El Castillo

ABOUT

Upon her former employer's passing, an unexpected twist of fate falls upon Justina. She inherits an opulent mansion nestled in the heart of Argentina's Pampa. The inheritance comes with a singular condition: she must never part with it. As time passes, the mansion succumbs to disrepair and the family's farm animals gradually permeate into the building, or are eventually sold off. All the while, Justina’s daughter, Alexia, prepares to embark on a journey to the city. El Castillo tenderly follows the last precious and bittersweet months shared by this mother and daughter, capturing the misty elements of their frail relationship and the contemporary threats that loom around the castle.
