Jacqueline Zünd was born in Zurich Switzerland. After the Ringier School of Journalism, she moved to London, where she studied at the London Filmschool. This was later followed by a two-year stay at the Istituto Svizzero in Rome. Her three feature documentary films GOODNIGHT NOBODY (2010), ALMOST THERE (2016) and WHERE WE BELONG (2019) have been screened at many International Film Festivals (Berlinale, Cannes, Visions du Réel, Locarno, IDFA Amsterdam, DokLeipzig, Mostra Sao Paulo, ect) and received numerous awards. She has been teaching at the Zurich University of the Arts since 2011.
