RaMell Ross is a visual artist, filmmaker, writer, and liberated documentarian. His work has appeared in places like Aperture; Hammer Museum; Institute of Contemporary Arts, London; International Center for Photography; Museum of Modern Art; High Museum of Art, Birmingham Museum of Art, and National Gallery of Art. He has been awarded an Aaron Siskind Foundation Individual Photographer’s Fellowship and was a 2020 USA Artist Fellow. His feature experimental documentary Hale County This Morning, This Evening won a Special Jury Award for Creative Vision at the 2018 Sundance Film Festival and 2020 Peabody Award. It was nominated for an Oscar at the 91st Academy Awards and an Emmy for Exceptional Merit in Documentary Film. RaMell holds degrees in Sociology and English from Georgetown University and is an Associate Professor in Brown University’s Visual Art Department. His work is in various public and private collections.

Su Kim is a documentary producer in New York. She is committed to crafting compelling stories and supporting independent filmmakers. Her films in release include the OSCAR® and Primetime Emmy®-nominated HALE COUNTY THIS MORNING, THIS EVENING (director RaMell Ross) and Emmy winner MIDNIGHT TRAVELER (director Hassan Fazili). As a producer, she was awarded the 2015 Women at Sundance fellowship, CPB/PBS Producers Workshop Fellowship as well as funding from ITVS, the Sundance Documentary fund, NYSCA, the Tribeca Film Institute and California Humanities. She is currently producing ONE BULLET (director Carol Dysinger), SANSÓN AND ME (director Rodrigo Reyes), FREE CHOL SOO LEE ( directors Eugene Yi and Julie Ha), SARAH (director Tracy Droz Tragos) and BITTERBRUSH (director Emelie Mahdavian). In 2020, Su Kim was the New York producer for LEARNING TO SKATEBOARD IN A WAR ZONE (IF YOU'RE A GIRL) which won the OSCAR® and BAFTA. She won two Peabody Awards.
