OFF LABEL

ABOUT

OFF LABEL is a trip through the medicated margins of American life, examining the prevalence of pharmaceutical drugs through the lives of some unique characters; a 22-year-old army medic last stationed at Abu Ghraib struggling with the VA to find treatments for PTSD, a woman fighting for reform after her son commits suicide in an anti-depressant study, a young couple paying for their wedding by doing drug trials for money, and a woman taking 18 different prescriptions and living in a Bigfoot Museum. OFF LABEL reveals a distinctly American landscape haunted by the ever-present commercialization of medicine and personal identity.
