Parallel Lines

ABOUT

Parallel Lines is a classic American roadtrip movie with a twist: the journey takes place in the Fall of 2001, as the filmmaker drives from California back home to New York, where her apartment once looked out on the World Trade Center. But September 11th is not the subject of this documentary; the events of that day quickly recede into the background of the film, serving instead as a kind of portal into the inner lives of Americans. This poignant and personal documentary, reveals heartache, humor, surprise and above all, the drive to endure.
