In search of the reality behind the memories of his youth in Kenya the filmmaker allows himself to be led by Masoud, an old fisherman, to a world where dreams, belief and reality cannot be differentiated from one another. The old fisherman still has childhood aspirations of catching a big shark and every day believes this could be the day. Old people tell of an almost vanished magical world of sea tests, threats and mythical ancient fishermen. It is a world in which Masoud, like generations before him; hunt down the impossible in peace, and with confidence in his own abilities.
