In 2000, Slavik Kryklyvyy became the World Latin Dance Champion with his partner and lover Joanna Leunis. Success seemed assured, but instead his career sputtered. A decade later he teams with a new partner and redemption seems within reach. Depicting their shifting dynamic through glances, and dance, this film evolves past the comeback, into a tragic love story, as Slavik's perfectionism drives a wedge between them.
