Our Artist Programs are designed to bring together filmmakers, artists, industry leaders and local audiences, forming a creative community on the coast of Maine that nurtures the careers of diverse nonfiction storytellers and helps them develop a stronger artistic voice.

POINTS NORTH FELLOWSHIP
Accelerate the development of your feature film at the largest documentary pitch forum in the U.S.

NORTH STAR FELLOWSHIP
A week of project development and critical conversations for five young documentary filmmakers of color

NORTH SHORTS GRANT & RESIDENCY
A $30,000 fund and fellowship for 6 filmmakers from the American Northeast working on documentary shorts

4TH WORLD INDIGENOUS MEDIA LAB
A year-long fellowship for emerging and mid-career Indigenous filmmakers

POINTS NORTH 1:1 MEEETINGS
A series of 20-minute meetings at CIFF between filmmakers with projects in development and industry decision makers

POINTS NORTH FORUM
A three-day conference during CIFF exploring the art, business and future of nonfiction storytelling
