Plagued by anxiety about climate change, a filmmaker decides to start seeing a climate psychologist, hoping to find peace of mind at what she’s pretty sure is the end of the world.
Sindha Agha is an Emmy-nominated director, writer and visual artist known for her viral, vibrant work. Sindha kicked off her career by writing & directing "Birth Control Your Own Adventure," acquired by The New York Times, which quickly reached 12.5 million organic views, was nominated for a 2019 News & Documentary Emmy and accepted into Tribeca and Palm Springs Film Festivals as a part of their official selection. Sindha has since been awarded two separate Sundance Institute fellowships (Ignite & New Voices), directed two seasons of her critically-acclaimed series “Body Language” for BBC Three, contributed to Radiolab, The New Yorker, Vox and The Atlantic, created the series “Twenty Ten Twenty-Five” for the Academy of American Poets and the Mellon Foundation and directed a short film for The Wellcome Trust. Sindha has guest lectured at universities including MIT, UC Berkeley and NYU and her work is included in the curricula of both film programs & medical schools around the world. Most recently, Sindha wrote & directed her original comedy series "How to Be a Person” for Channel 4, now streaming on All 4 in the UK. She also wrote & co-executive produced the upcoming Netflix series “The Principles of Pleasure.” Sindha is currently in production with ITVS on her latest documentary “Everything Wrong and Nowhere to Go,” about the psychology of climate change. Before her career in film, Sindha worked in Silicon Valley in food biotech and studied political economy at the University of Illinois. She also won some poetry award in 5th grade and, to her father, this is her life’s crowning achievement and still warrants a mention.
