ABOUT
NIAGARA’S FURY is a photographic documentary that explores the city that has grown up around the world's most famous waterfalls. A series of intricately composed tableaux examines eerily empty monuments to tourism, entertainment and consumption. The film ponders over the confusion and absurdity of mankind's icons and why the falls might be so furious.
Benjamin R. Taylor is an independent filmmaker and musician with work exhibited in international festivals and cinemas. He is also an independent film curator, programmer and facilitator. He is the founder and creative director of VISIONS, an independent curatorial series that foregrounds artists working in experimental and documentary cinema. He is cofounder and general manager of la lumière collective, a microcinema and artist studio in Montréal, Québec, Canada.
