A group of six scuba divers that specialize in deep underwater operations lives for a period of three weeks at the bottom of the ocean, conducting work on board of the platform Luna.
Yuri Ancarani, born in Ravenna, lives and works in Milan, Italy. He is an Italian video artist and filmmaker, represented by Isabella Bortolozzi Galerie, Berlin and ZERO..., Milano. His works come from a continuous mingling of documentary cinema and contemporary art, and are the result of a research aimed to explore regions which are not very visibile in the daily life, realities in which the artist delves in first person. His works have been shown at several film festivals, such as: New York Film Festival (New York City, USA); Camden International Film Festival (Maine, USA); True/False Film Festival (Columbia, Missouri); TIFF Toronto International Film Festival (Toronto, Canada); Locarno Film Festival (Locarno, Switzerland); Viennale (Vienna, Austria); Venice Film Festival (Venice, Italy); IFFR International Film Festival Rotterdam (Rotterdam, The Netherlands); CPH:DOX (Copenhagen, Denmark).
