Kenneth Copp is a furniture maker form rural Maine who spent his life in old-order Amish communities. But when he began to question his faith, Kenneth was shunned from the church, unable to communicate with his family or do business with his neighbors. Despite the ensuing hardship, Kenneth has been able to persevere, driven by a quest for greater understanding about what it means to live in accordance with your beliefs.

LANCE EDMANDS is a writer, director, and editor based in Brooklyn. He was born and raised on the coast of Maine and graduated from NYU. His work has been featured at the Sundance, Tribeca, SXSW, Berlin, and New York Film Festivals. His first feature film as writer/director, BLUEBIRD premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival and was released theatrically by Factory 25. Salon called the film "a delicate and affecting drama with grace notes of mystery and redemption" and it was named a NY Times "Critics Pick." Lance also directs and edits commercials, including acclaimed spots for Ford, Google, and Cadillac. His three most recent shorts, STRAYS, WHITEOUT, and THE SEEKER were all Vimeo Staff Picks.
