As a group of refugees try to enter Europe illegally by boat, a storm appears from nowhere and an old man falls overboard. THOSE WHO FEEL THE FIRE BURNING is a poetic investigation into a serious and prevalent social problem: the plight of refugees who have survived this perilous journey in search of a better life.
