Made refugees by the war in Ukraine, Olga and her granddaughter, Milana, travel to a summer mountaineering camp in the Austrian Alps where they test the limits of bravery and the bonds between them.
Max Lowe is an award winning documentary film director and producer whose work has revealed intimate human stories on the exposed edges of our world. Max debuted his first feature documentary film Torn (National Geographic Docs & Disney+) in the fall of 2021 at Telluride Film Festival, and had previously directed short documentaries that screened at Tribeca and Cannes (Adventure Not War), Berlinale (Bare Existence) and SXSW (Winter's Eve). His newest short documentary (Camp Courage) has been acquired by Netflix for release fall of 2023, and he has partnered with Academy Award Winning Producers Mel Miller and Diane Becker on his next feature documentary which is currently in post production.
