The Shepherd and The Bear
7:30pm SUNDAY 9.15, Strand Theatre
ABOUT
High in the French Pyrenees, the reintroduction of wild bears in a traditional shepherding community provokes deep conflict. An aging shepherd struggles to find a successor as bears prey on his flock, and a teenage boy becomes obsessed with tracking the bear. Through immersive and stunning cinematography, THE SHEPHERD AND THE BEAR tells a modern folktale about tradition, community, and our relationship with a vanishing natural world.
