Joe’s Violin
A 91-year-old Holocaust survivor donates his violin of 70 years to a local instrument drive, changing the life of a 12-year-old school girl in the nation’s poorest congressional district, and unexpectedly, his own. Joe’s Violin illuminates the transcendent power of music, how a simple act can make a profound impact, and how one violin connects two people from different backgrounds, 80 years apart.
