2026 ACCESSIBILITY
Please reach out to Mara Bresnahan (Accessibility Consultant) at [email protected] to request accommodations for specific screenings/events and for accessibility-related questions.
Personal closed captioning, amplified audio, and audio description devices are available upon request at all screening venues. Devices transmit dialogue and audio descriptions to a small, easy-to-read personal screen which attaches to your seat. Closed captioning and audio description availability is subject to the content made available by filmmakers. This year, we will also provide ASL interpretation at select post-screening Q&As and events.
For screening-specific accessibility information, including closed captions, ASL interpretation, and photosensitivity content warnings, please navigate to the Film Guide page.
Quiet Spaces and Sensory Information
Quiet space is available on the 3rd floor of the Camden Opera House in the Blue Cafe. Please note that our parties are not scent-free and include large crowds, amplified music, and bright and changing lights. Ear plugs are available at After Dark parties, and though there are no dedicated quiet spaces, guests may leave and re-enter party spaces as needed.

Community Care at CIFF 2026
We believe that gathering as a community means assuming collective responsibility for the safety, well-being, and overall experience of others. To that end, we invite all CIFF participants— staff, guests, volunteers, filmmakers, fellows, and more—to familiarize themselves with the following resources and participate in the following harm reduction practices/inclusive approaches to forming a community that prioritizes care.
Each of our screening and late night party venues will have masks available for guests. We encourage masking indoors when not actively eating or drinking. Remember, it’s also flu season! Air purifiers will be stationed in our smaller forum spaces, The Tucker Room and The French Room, in the Camden Opera House.
We ask that anyone who feels sick stays home/at their festival accommodation rather than risk exposing other festival guests to their illness (COVID or otherwise). If you test positive for COVID-19, please do not attend any festival events, screenings, or gatherings of any kind.
Arrive Home Alive from After Dark!
Here at the Camden International Karaoke Film Festival, we love to have a good time. We also love when our community arrives home safely from our parties!
Festival Shuttle
We encourage all After Dark guests to take advantage of our festival shuttle and avoid/minimize use of personal vehicles. Enjoy yourself at our parties and get a safe ride home!
Naloxone
Thanks to our friends at Coastal Recovery Community Center, we have naloxone on hand at our venues and at Journey’s End. Naloxone is a life-saving medication that reverses the effects of an opioid overdose – and it is 100% safe to use even if someone is not experiencing an overdose.
When in doubt, administer Naloxone to someone you suspect is experiencing an overdose. More information on how to identify an overdose and administer treatment can be found here. Coastal Recovery Community Center will also be tabling at our Hub on Saturday afternoon; stop by and get some resources for yourself or your loved ones!
