A Womans Work

NFL revenues are projected to surpass $13 billion in 2016. Water-boys and mascots can earn in excess of $50 thousand dollars per season, stadium concession workers earn above minimum wage plus tips. For over 50 years, the only visible women of the NFL were paid nothing or below legal wages until LACY blew the whistle in 2014 and filed a class-action lawsuit against the Oakland Raiders for wage theft. This ignited a nationwide fire that inspired KRYSTAL of the NY Jets and MARIA and ALYSSA of the Buffalo Bills to file similar lawsuits. Our film follows these women as they put their public and personal lives on the line to reveal entrenched gender inequalities in a multi-billion dollar corporation.
