Over 100 African American men claim to have been tortured by Chicago Police Commander Jon Burge and his “Midnight Crew” of detectives between 1972 and 1991. AREA 2 explores the Chicago police torture saga through the stories of a broad spectrum of people connected to it, many of whom have never shared their extraordinary perspectives before.
